Roasted squash and apple

apple squashI wasn’t sure what to make of this dish but it turned out delicious. The house smelled of pumkin pie. This is so simple but the flavors are intense.

I cut up a garden squash, I don’t know what name it is because it was grown from my mother in laws garden. It is a dark green exterior with a bright orange interior and smells like watermelon. Really delicious in stews or just roasted with crisp  fresh apples- don’t forget to sprinkle 4 spice mix or pumkin pie spice!
